Hi! I'm Meagan, the heart behind Lumirra Collective.
I search for forgotten photographic negatives, images that in many cases have not been seen for over a century. Small fragments of history that were once lost to time.
Each negative is carefully scanned by hand and transformed into a fine art print, preserving the fragile beauty of moments captured more than 100 years ago. Over time, I have built a collection of hundreds of rediscovered photographs, each carrying its own quiet story waiting to be uncovered.
I spend time not only restoring these photographs, but also trying to understand them. Where they were taken, who might be in them and what moment was being captured. Some stories are clear, others remain a mystery and I think that is part of what makes them so special.
What was once lost to time now lives again as something you can hold, display, and preserve in your own space. These are real moments, real people, real pieces of history, given a second life.
